September 24, 2010 - Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs Judith A. McHale visited Turkey at the end of September. A former CEO with the Discovery Channel, Ms. McHale met with Turkish government officials as well as media and business leaders but focused on two programs supported by the US that involve Turkish youth.

English Access Summer Camp - Kizilcahamam, Ankara
July 25, 2010 - From July 4 to July 24, the Embassy’s Public Affairs Section hosted two summer camps for 105 students in the English Access Microscholarship Program. The summer camps took place at a nature camp facility operated by the Turkish Red Crescent in Çamkoru, a heavily forested district of Ankara province.
