Ambassador Wilson’s Comments Prior to Meeting the Governor

Ambassador:    Thank you very much, Governor. It is a great pleasure to meet you and a great pleasure to visit Eskisehir. It is a great pleasure to get out of Ankara and see a little bit of the rest of Turkey. Turkey and the US are longstanding friends and allies.  Our relationship is very important. I am here to support US business in Eskisehir and see if we can further develop opportunities for our countries.

And obviously, while I’m here I look forward to talking with you and other leaders here about issues that you’re dealing with and opportunities for collaboration in the future.
