Ambassador  Jeffrey Visits Turkish American Association’s Antalya Office

During his January 31 visit to the newly opened Turkish American Association’s (TAA) Antalya Office, Ambassador Jeffrey expressed appreciation for TAA’s work in promoting U.S.-Turkey relations and in the establishment of a new office and language training center in Antalya.  TAA Chairman Ali Kemaloğlu and TAA Antalya Director Ahmet Yurtman briefed the Ambassador on the activities of the TAA Antalya Office and introduced him to the staff and instructors for the language training center. 
 

Ambassador Jeffrey Underscores US Priorities for NATO at Antalya Conference

Noting President Obama’s message to NATO Allies on Inauguration Day, Ambassador James Jeffrey underscored the importance the U.S. attaches to NATO and the desire to renew the Alliance in his address on January 31 at the 17^th Antalya International Conference on Security and Cooperation.  Ambassador Jeffrey emphasized that NATO’s work in Afghanistan and with the countries of Europe’s south and east will be priorities for the new Administration.
