Digital Video Conference - Foreign Policy Priorities of the Obama Administration

Turkish officials, academics and media representatives joined Ambassador James Jeffrey at his residence January 20 to observe the inauguration of Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States. Following live coverage of the Oath of Office and the President’s inaugural address, the guests participated in a digital video conference on the “Foreign Policy Priorities of the Obama Administration.” Guest speaker Walter Russell Mead, an internationally recognized author and commentator, is the Henry A. Kissinger senior fellow for U.S. Foreign Policy at the Council on Foreign Relations. Mr. Mead and that both countries will continue to work closely together, as they have for over 50 years.
