Immigrant Visa
Administrative Process Status for Immigrant Visa Applicants
If your case number appears below please appear in person with your passport, refusal sheet (OF-194) and the missing items, if any, at the U.S. Embassy, Consular Section in Ankara, on any Monday through Thursday between 13:00 and 13:30, before the expiration date of the administrative process. If your case number is not listed, please check the list every seven days.
While most administrative procedures occur prior to the final immigrant visa interview, in some instances additional processing may be required after the interview.
The date stated below, next to your case number is not a new appointment date. It is the expiration date of your administrative process. We advise you to come to our office at your earliest convenience when your case number is announced below and not wait until the expiration date of your administrative process.

Important Reminder Regarding Medical Examinations
Medical examinations classified as "Class B (TB)" are valid for 3 months from the date the doctor signed the report. All other medical examinations classified as "No apparent decease or defect" are valid for 6 months after the doctor’s signature date. If your case is subject to further administrative processing, your medical report may expire during the process. In that case, you are required to renew your examination and submit an updated medical report to our office when you come here to receive your immigrant visa. Your visa validity will be limited with the validity of your medical report. If you plan to travel at a later date, you are advised to renew your medical report and get a visa with a longer validity.
When you return our office to receive your visa, please obtain and provide the most recent taxable year’s complete income tax returns from your petitioner and cosponsor (such as 1040 Individual income tax returns, Form W-2, Wage and Tax Statements or Form 1099, Miscellaneous Income).
