Legislative Fellows Program

 5-Week Program in the United States on citizen participation and the legislative process for members of parliament, civic leaders and legislative and policy staff serving in parliament, local and national government

Application deadline:  September 30, 2011

The National Democratic Institute and Freedom House offer interested citizens of Turkey the opportunity to directly observe civil involvement in the legislative process in the United States at both national and local levels.  Selected applicants will spend five weeks in the United States working directly with elected officials, political leaders, civil society organizations and legislative staff.  Funding for this program is provided by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) of the U.S. Department of State.
