Ankara, May 4, 2005. A number of Turkish media outlets have published reports in the past week days based on an alleged recent meeting between US Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and Saddam Hussein. Claims of such a meeting first appeared in an Arab language newspaper based in London. In fact, no such meeting took place, so any speculation about what might have been discussed at such a meeting is therefore groundless.
