US Condemns the Sirnak Terrorist Attack
Ankara, July 7, 2009
The United States condemns the recent terrorist attack in Sirnak that killed six and wounded nine construction workers. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the families of the victims of this attack. As we have said before, our cooperation with Turkey against PKK terrorism will continue. We are also encouraged by the constructive statements by Turkish leaders calling for an end to violence and a commitment to resolve differences through peaceful means.
