Apply Early for Holiday Travel to the United States
 
Ankara, November 24, 2006. 

To meet anticipated demand for New Year and Kurban Bayram travel, the U.S. Mission in Turkey strongly encourages Turkish citizens and residents considering travel to the United States for the New Year holiday period to apply for a U.S. visa before December 22nd.  Nonimmigrant visa interview appointments are currently available, but only in limited numbers and we expect these to become booked quickly.  The U.S. Mission will be closed for holidays on December 25th, and January 1st through 3rd.
