Turkish-American Association Language School Opens in Konya

Ankara, December 15, 2006. 

U.S. Ambassador Ross Wilson will participate in the opening ceremony of the Turkish-American Association Konya Language School in Konya, Monday December 18, 2006. The Konya center is the first of several franchises TAA plans to open across Turkey as part of its efforts to provide equal opportunity in education.

Established in 1955, the TAA has been offering foreign language courses in Ankara for more than 50 years. Looking forward to the next 50 years, the Turkish-American Association has set new objectives: improve educational programs, achieve technological superiority in education and place special emphasis on cultural exchange programs. The opening of the Turkish-American Konya Language School is a major step toward achieving those goals.
