Dear Prospective Bidder:
Enclosed is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for Gardening Services. If you would like to submit a quotation, follow the instructions in Section 3 of the solicitation, complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit it to the address shown on the Standard Form 1449 that follows this letter.
The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting an acceptable quotation at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.
As stated in Section 3 of the Request for Quotations (RFQ), the Embassy intends to conduct a pre-proposal conference on June 4, 2009 at 2:00 PM, and all prospective quoters are invited to attend. Any company who would like to send attendees to this conference should submit the names of the attendees to the Embassy by email Yalhim@state.gov by 10:00 AM on June 03, 2009. The attendees are requested to come to Nevzat Tandogan Cad. Gate No.1, Kavaklidere, Ankara.
Quotations must be submitted in a sealed envelope by June 17, 2009. No quotations will be accepted after this time.
