In the wake of the tragic terrorist attacks in Turkey, Ambassador James Jeffrey went on the record with a message of condolence and of support for the people of Turkey.  In this exclusive interview with Hurriyet daily newspaper on June 24, the reporter highlights the Ambassador understanding of Turkey's fight against terror and of the pain experienced by Turkish families.  The Ambassador's said "there's no question about intelligence sharing" and stressed that the PKK is "our common enemy."  The military moves are just one aspect of the terrorist fight, according to the Ambassador, who noted that the conflict has political, psychological, economic and diplomat aspects.
