STEP 3: Schedule Your Appointment

To schedule your appointment, purchase a PIN and make an appointment through either:

A) By Credit card

Call the Visa Information Service (VIS) at +90 212-340-4444 to purchase a PIN by credit card and make an appointment for an interview. This service is available Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Appointments may be made the same day the PIN is purchased.

B) At Türkiye İş Bankası

Visit any Türkiye İş Bankası branch and purchase a PIN for $20USD or the Turkish Lira equivalent. The PIN will be valid for one year from the date of purchase. In addition, one PIN can be used to schedule up to five (5) family members living at one residence.

On the day following receipt of your PIN from Türkiye İş Bankası, call VIS at +90 212-340-4444 to make an appointment for an interview with a Consular Officer. This service is available Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., except on Turkish holidays.

Note: The VIS can provide current information on both non-immigrant and immigrant visas to the U.S., including information on the documents an applicant is required to have in order to apply for a visa. When calling the VIS to make your appointment, be prepared to ask any questions relating to the completion of the application forms. The PIN is valid for a second call to the VIS on the same day as the original call, but only to change or cancel an appointment. Additional calls with questions will require a new PIN number.
