The State Department's Bureau of International Information Programs (IIP) seeks to put international audiences in touch with U.S. experts on a wide variety of topics through internet chat sessions.
Since June 2005, IIP has held many interactive Internet chats on such diverse topics as Uzbekistan, environmental protection, human rights, U.S. foreign aid, American cuisine, Muslim life in America, and the future of the Internet.

How to participate

If you have already participated in one of IIP's online discussions, there is no need to register again. Just use the same user name and password. The use of full names is neither required nor encouraged, you may identify yourself by the user name of your choice. Questions and comments are accepted in advance of the program and at any time during it.
